Asia Occupy Till I Come Stand in the Gap

Isaiah 62:6-7 (NKJV): ⁶ I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, ⁷ and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Matthew 28:19 KJV, NKJV : ¹⁹ GO YE therefore, and TEACH ALL NATIONS, MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL THE NATIONS, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Luke19:13 KJV, NKJV, MSG:¹³ And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, “Occupy till I come”, “Do business till I come”, “Operate with this until I return”. (Stand in the Gap).

An instruction / Commission has gone forth from God and our Chief commandant Jesus Christ to "GO AND TEACH ALL NATIONS”, “MAKE DISCIPLES” of them and “Occupy till he comes” as watchmen (stand in the gap till He comes).

Let’s learn the operation from Abraham.

Genesis Chapter 18 (KJV):¹⁷ And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;… (Merciful God)

Verses 20-22 :²⁰ And the Lord said, because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; ²¹ I WILL GO DOWN NOW, AND SEE whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. (Merciful God; the God of second chance).²² And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: BUT ABRAHAM STOOD YET BEFORE THE LORD.

Ø  The story in Genesis chapter 18 tells us about God’s visitation to Abraham on His way to assess the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah which has come unto Him; before He passes judgement on them. God found Abraham a righteous man whom he cannot hide anything from because he is a friend with a mandate. We found Abraham interceding on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah for the sakes of the righteous in the land but unfortunately God could not find one. Why? I asked myself because there was no one to stand in the gap. Lot, who could have done this, got entangled in the affairs of Sodom and Gomorrah. He was able to escape this destruction with his two daughters because of Abraham’s prayers for them. 

Ø  Brothers and Sisters, the Lord has come to us today just like Abraham because we have found favour in His sight to stand in the gap for Asia, to pray for the watchmen (the likes of Lot) He has raised in the Continent of Asia who are been destroyed through persecution or have entangled themselves with the affairs of the world system there.

Ø  The news, things we see and hear around us are all signs of God coming down to us to do something just like He did to Abraham. He has put in us the ability, the strength to be able to occupy / stand in the gap till He comes.

2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV ¹⁴ If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

what are we expected to do while occupying / standing in the Gap?

Jeremiah 1:9-10 (NKJV):⁹ Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.¹⁰ See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.”

Ø  It is the Lord that will put forth His hand to touch our mouths; put His words in it to root out, pull down, destroy, build and to plant; but before He can do this, we need to humble ourselves, pray, seek God and turn from all wicked ways. The Lord has set us up today over nations, and over Kingdoms including the continent of Asia. It is the Lord that will do it through us. And He is ready to do it.

What God wants us to deal with in the Continent of Asia.

Luke19:1-9 NKJV: Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.² Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. ³ And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature.⁴ So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him for He was going to pass that way.

Ø  People like Zacchaeus are seeking to see the light of Jesus come into Asia; but have been handicapped by physical and spiritual barriers standing in their ways. God’s creations are praying, doing things to the best of their knowledge like Cornelius in Acts 10:22 waiting for help to come (the likes of Abraham, Lot, watchmen in Asia to arise and stand in the gap).

 ⁵ And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him,^[a] and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” ⁶ So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. ⁷ But when they saw it, they all complained,…(Giants in the land) verse ⁹ And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; ¹⁰ for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Ø  The Lord wants to visit all the “Zacchaeus” and “Lots” in the Continent of Asia today. He has come down to visit the Continent of Asia through our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ in us. To root out, pull down, destroy and throw down the Giants that will not make the people of Asia see Jesus; that is the complete gospel.

 In the case of Zacchaeus it was:  

1.    “The crowd”: Things that are chocking the children of God in Asia such as cheating, oppressing the needy / the poor by acquiring things from them falsely, the world system, money, debt,  Ignorance of the victory in Jesus Christ etc.

2.    “His stature”: physical & spiritual disabilities such as bondages, oppressions, wickedness in high and low places, principalities and powers, poverty, spiritual blindness, ignorance of the FULL gospel etc.

3.    “Complaint of people”: Legislations, laws that are holding or preventing the manifestation of the complete gospels.

In the case of Lot

1.    Lack of righteousness (holy living), Lack of focus, corruption, prayerlessness, compromise, men pleasing, greed to mention but a few distracting the watchmen.

2.    The entanglement / abomination of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Ø  Brethren, the reason God show us the things we see, put a burden in our hearts for some things is because He wants us to do something about them; That is stand in the gap for it. Abraham realised this and he did it to save Lot and his family.

Ø  God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have come to us today like they did Abraham. They are asking the question like they did unto Abraham.

 Verse 14: Is anything too hard for the Lord?..........

Genesis 18:23-26 (KJV) ²³ And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? ²⁴ Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? ²⁵ That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? ²⁶ And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

Ø  The Lord has brought us unto this platform today, to answer to the call of Jesus Christ which says “occupy till I come", "Operate with this until I return". Just like the Lord's visit to Abraham before destroying Sodom and Gomorrah the Lord has come for us to stand in the Gap for Asia until the full gospel is established in this continent.

Ø  Let’s stand and occupy just like Abraham did for Asia. For the sake of the righteous there, for the sake of the gospel; the Lord has said he will spare the place.

Let’s pray like these:

Prayer Points:

·         Lord our father look up unto the continent of Asia today, let her find favour in your sight and do not pass away from her in the name of Jesus .

·         For the sake of the righteous souls in the continent of Asia O Lord, please have mercy on her and deliver her from all oppressions that are holding her captive in Jesus name.

·         Lord raise up watchmen for the continent of Asia who will give you no rest until you establish and make her a praise in the earth in Jesus name.

·         Let the inhabitant of Asia receive your fear, humble themselves, pray and seek your face as from today hence forth in Jesus name.

·         Pour out your mercy and grace upon the persecuted souls in Asia in Jesus name.

·         Lord arise and travail through your righteous souls in Asia for her peace in Jesus name.

·         Create open doors for the complete gospel to enter Asia and let it stay in Jesus name.

·         Let every barrier to the spread of the complete gospel be pull down in Jesus name.

·         We uproot every abomination of Sodom and Gomorrah in Asia and pull down the citadel of the strong man in charge of Asia in Jesus name.

·         Let all craftiness in the Laws, legislations and counsel of the strong man in charge of Asia be turned to foolishness in Jesus name.

·         We ask for the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ to rest upon every righteous soul in the government levels, business world, military of nations, social care sector, politics etc in the continent of Asia in Jesus name.

·         And finally Lord let your kingdom come by power and your will be done over Asia in Jesus name.

·         Thank you Lord for hearing our Prayers for in Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen.

Europe: Give Me This Mountain Rods Like Peter

•       Peter was one of the first followers of Jesus. As soon as Jesus met him, He changed his name from Peter to Cephas, a rock.

•       He had a profitable fishing business.

•       Jesus officially called Peter to follow Him, after producing a miraculous catch of fish.

•       For the next three years, Peter lived as a disciple of the Lord Jesus.

•       He was impetuous, rash, impulsive, almost reckless; he spoke and acted without thinking most  the time.

•       Received revelation from God one minute, the next receiving inspiration from Satan.

•       Although Jesus said Peter was a rock, looking at his life when Jesus was alive and in the immediate aftermath of His death, Peter was more of a reed blown this way and that way.

John 21:3

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

•       Peter experienced Calvary, yet…

•       Peter was evacuated of his old life at the cross, yet…

•       Peter’s name was changed to be the rock, yet…

•       The church was to be built through God’s revelation to him, yet…

•       Peter was told, “He is risen, I have seen Him; He said I should come and tell you and He mentioned your name specifically,” yet…

Something happened to Peter before he could fulfil the prophesy of Jesus upon him.

THE HOLY GHOST, THE DAY OF PENTECOST FULLY CAME AND HE WAS BAPTISED.

Acts 2:14

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Acts 3: 6-8

Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Acts 4:19-20

But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.

Acts 5:29

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Acts 8:14-17

Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:44

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

•       Jesus’ promise that Peter would be foundational in building the Church was fulfilled in three stages:

•       Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost.

•       Then, he was present when the Samaritans received the Holy Spirit.

•       Finally, he was summoned to the home of the Roman centurion Cornelius, who also believed and received the Holy Spirit.

•       In this way, Peter “unlocked” three different worlds and opened the door of the gospel to Jews, Samaritans, and Gentiles. 

•       Peter was very critical, crucial and vital in God’s plan for His own generation.

Prayer Points

•       There are rods like Peter allocated for revival in Europe. Where are they, O Lord, where are they?

•       Some may need restoration and reassurance like Peter. Lord, please if they need to catch fish until the net breaks, then do so.

•       Some need encouragement and inspiration. Lord, if you need to bake hot bread and fish for them to show them that they do not need to fish all night anymore, please do for them.

•       Some may need to see their risen Saviour again. Lord, please show them Yourself; restate the gospel in their lives; show them what happened to them at the cross again.

•       Holy Ghost, please fish them out; please go after them to where they have gone a fishing.

•       Holy Spirit, you know them; you know their address; you know their state. Please chase after them, pursue them until they are captured.

Peter opened the door of three different nations to the gospel after the HOLY GHOST happened to him. Please let us ask for an outpouring of the Holy Ghost.  We cannot move away from Him, He is the revivalist.

•       Pour down Holy Spirit in an unprecedented way that our generation has never seen before.

•       Holy Ghost, please come again. Lord, dig the lives of Your Peters. Evacuate them so there can be space and capacity for the Spirit of Christ,  the Holy Ghost to fill them to overflowing.

•       Holy Ghost, do it again. Do it again, we beseech you. O Lord, do it again, come for us, come again for Europe.

2 Chronicles 20

Vs 2:There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this  

         side Syria…

Vs 10: And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir…

•       It was an impossible situation.

•       The enemies had gathered from a far and they had joined forces together.

•       They were strategic, deliberate and it had obviously taken many years of planning.

•       Now, they began to execute their wickedness. Their aim was to annihilate Judah and its inhabitants.

2 Chronicles 20

Vs 3: And Jehoshaphat feared…

Vs 12: O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

•       There was fear, disillusionment, anxiety, distress, anger.

•       They had no power or might compared to the army set against them.

•       Most importantly, no one knew what to do, or how to go about it. They had no clue how to resolve the situation, or how to face this enemy.

This man Jehoshaphat – 2 Chronicles 17 3,4 & 6

•       He sought the Lord God His father and walked not in the ways of Israel.

•       He walked in the first ways of his father David.

•       His heart was lifted up in the way of the Lord.

•       He took away the high places and grooves.

Do we have a Jehoshaphat in Nigeria?

Yes! 

Many of us on this prayer platform are the product of one of the Jehoshaphats in Nigeria.

2 Chronicles 20: 3  - And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

•       What did Jehoshaphat do?

•       Our own Jehoshaphat is doing the same and we have responded to that call as the whole of Judah did.

•       We are on this prayer platform this day to go before the Lord with our Jehoshaphat and do exactly what the Lord tells us to do.

•       So what was God’s response to Jehoshaphat and the whole of Judah?

•       2 Chronicles 20: 15  - And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

•       2 Chronicles 20: 21-22  - And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever.

•       And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.

PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY OVER NIGERIA

•       Sing, praise, worship the Lord him His mercies endureth forever.

•       Lord, please make Benue state (middle belt) our valley of Berachah.

2 Chronicles 20:15b – Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

Europe: Give Me This Mountain Rods Like Cornelius

THE DAY HAS BROKEN UPON US  - Psalm 110:1-7 (KJV)

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

God of Creation - Genesis 1:1-5

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Rods like Cornelius the Gentile  - Acts 10

•       A devout man (Pious, religious).

•       Who feared God (venerated God, treated God with reverential obedience).

•       Worshipped the true God.

•       A real man of prayer.

•       An Italian soldier

•       A Centurion

•       At this time Rome worshipped the Emperor (Caesar) as God.

•       There were other gods like Jupiter, Venus, Minerva, Diana, Apollos.

•       In fact, they had so many gods, that the word “Roman pantheon” is used to describe the gods worshipped by the Romans.

•       Yet Cornelius and his entire household worshipped Jehovah the God of the Jews.

HOW DID HE COME ABOUT THIS KNOWLEDGE OF GOD THAT LED TO HIS DEVOTION?

God is sovereign!!!  He said in Romans 10:

vs 13 “Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”

vs 15 “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.”

vs 16 “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.”

vs 23 “And that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,”

vs 24 “Even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?”

Vessels of Mercy

•       The salvation of Europe is God’s prerogative.

•       Who comes into His kingdom in Europe is by His own choice and determination.

•       Although Cornelius and his household were devoted, it was the mercy of God that located him.

•       There were other non- Jews who were believers of God at this time. I believe they may have been equally as pious and devoted to God.

•       But God by an act of mercy chose Cornelius and his household to be His sample of gentile believers in Christ.

•       God chose Cornelius as a vessel of mercy in order to show forth His glory.

Christ the basis of our Cry for vessels of Mercy

Ephesians 2:4-7 “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”

1 Peter 1:3-4 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.”

Titus 3:4-5  “But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Saviour appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.”

Prayer Points

Only someone who has received mercy from the Lord that can minister the same mercy to another. Our first set of prayer point is for us.

•       Please cry to the Lord and ask Him to make you His vessel of mercy.

•       Lord, let your mercy locate and my household.

•       The mercy of God that makes a man and his entire household a sample of the life of Christ.

•       The mercy of God that prevents a man from making the wrong decision, and that pursues a man until wrong decisions and their consequence are corrected totally.

•       The mercy of God that established a family and their children yet unborn into Christ forever.

•       Let me and my household be recipients of this mercy and become a pipe through whom You can flow to others.

Prayer Points for Europe

•       Lord, please raise Your vessels of mercy all across Europe.

•       Let Your mercy attend to Your people in Europe.

•       Let Your mercy locate heads of families among all the tribes and people group in Europe.

•       O Lord, let your mercy that brings salvation reach whole families, extended families and whole communities in Europe.

•       O Lord, raise Your Cornelius at national levels, at regional levels, at local government levels, in language groups, at tribal levels all across Europe. Raise them O Lord, in your mercy.

•       In the military of nations, in the different professions of nations of Europe, in the business world of Europe, in the education sector , in the health and social care sector, in government and politics, in vocational sector, O Lord, please raise Your vessels of mercy.

•       Pour Your mercy that brings salvations upon Your people in Europe.

Nigeria - Occupy Till I Come

In the Beginning God

Genesis 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

•       God is the Creator of all things including Nigeria. The gap between Him and His creature is infinity.

•       God retains maximum ownership of all things including Nigeria. He has not given up that right to anyone, any power or any authority.

•       He does not negotiate with any man, neither does He need or require anything from anyone.

•       He is Almighty, the Man of war, who fights a war without a weapon.  He has never and will never lose a battle, so He will never lose the battle of Nigeria.

•       He is self-dependent, self-existent, self-sufficient. He is totally independent of anything He has created.

•       He cannot be improved upon, He cannot be outwitted by Satan, He needs nothing or no one to survive.

•       HE IS GOD, HE DOES NOT SWEAT ABOUT DARKNESS, HE JUST SPEAKS.

The Earth is the Lord

Psalm 24:1

The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

•       The earth (including Nigeria) is the Lord’s, all that is in it, (including all the citizens of Nigeria).

•       Nigeria is the Lord’s because God created Nigeria. God set Nigeria’s boundaries (not the British colonialist). God created all the tribes and people groups of Nigeria and located them in Nigeria.

•       Nigeria is the Lord’s because God purchased the people of Nigeria with a great price the blood of Jesus.

•       Both the land, the seas, the resources, the animals (including Fulani herdsman's cows, the people, the citizens, the foreigners within Nigeria are His.

•       Please note- God has not relinquished His ownership of Nigeria or the people therein to anyone, to any power or to any authority. Nigeria is the Lord’s.

GOD DOES NOT NEED A GIANT TO FINISH A GIANT.

DAVID THE SHEPHERD

•       David  - 1 Samuel 17:1-58

•       The agent  - vs 42: A ruddy teenager, a youngster, a shepherd, untrained unschooled in the art of war.

•       The weapons - vs 40: Shepherd's pouch, sling  and five smooth pebbles.

•       The battle strategy: The Word of God believed and spoken ; faith in God who is able to do the impossible.

24 HOURS IS TOO LONG FOR GOD TO FINISH A GIANT

ESTHER THE QUEEN

•       Esthe r 3:1-15, 4:13-16, 5:1-2, 4, 14, 6:1,6-7,10,13, 7:3-6,9-10

•       The agent: A woman, yes a queen but she started as an ordinary  virgin teenager, unschooled in politics and government.

•       The weapons: Discretion, wisdom from God, good food.

•       The battle strategy: Prayer fasting, intercession, cooking & hospitality.

The case for the church in Nigeria?

•       Isaiah 59

•       Why does it seem like God is slow in addressing the issue of Nigeria?

•       We are a praying nation, vigils upon vigils, fastings of all types , prayers of all types, preachers of all types, churches of all types, yet Nigeria is not saved and now the enemy, Goliaths, Hamans, Jezebels and the likes have encamped against the nation.

•       GOD DOES NOT ANSWER THE PRAYERS OF SINNERS UNLESS THEY REPENT AND RETURN TO THEIR GOD.

•       Isaiah 59:20 - And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

Prayer Points | Repentance on behalf of the church Nigeria  - Psalm 51

•       Have mercy upon us, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out our transgressions.

•       Lord, we acknowledge our sins and iniquities are always before us.

•       Wash us thoroughly from our iniquity, and cleanse us from our sin.

•       We have sold our souls to Satan; we have joined hand and connived with your enemies against You and we have done it in the name of Jesus.

•       We have gone AWOL pursuing assets instead of ACCESS to You, gold instead of GOD, cash instead of the CROSS, dollars instead of DISCIPLESHIP.

•       We have misrepresented You; we have given occasion for Your enemy to blaspheme You; we have brought You sorrow and pain.

•       We have defiled Your offerings; our church leaders like wolves, have devoured Your people all in the name of Jesus.

•       We have left the commission to make disciples and evangelised Nigeria to take up the commission to fill our bellies, our pockets and build our church empires.

•       LORD HAVE MERCY ON US. WE THE CHURCH IN NIGERIA, HAVE MERCY, O LORD.

Promote the full gospel in Nigeria afresh O Lord.

•       Isaiah 59:20 - And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

•       1 Samuel 14:1 - Now it happened one day that Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man who bore his armour, “Come, let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison that is on the other side.” But he did not tell his father.

•       LET THE REDEEMER COME AFRESH TO US IN NIGERIA.

•       ENLIGHTEN OUR EYES AGAIN. LET US SEE JESUS CHRIST AND WHAT HE CAME TO DO AFRESH.

Prayer Points | Lord bring the cross-centred gospel back to Your church in Nigeria.

•       Lord, let Your church, Your children in Nigeria, begin to turn from the adulterated, incomplete gospel that we have heard, believed and imbibed over some decades now.

•       Let us begin to revolt Lord, in our spirit. Lord, cause an unrest in the hearts of Your children that will make us to begin to question what we have believed and are living our lives for in the name of the gospel.

•       Let this spread like wild fire. Let us no longer defer to Saul. Lord, deliver our Davids, our Jonathans from the hand of Saul and the doctrines that Saul has perpetuated over the years.

•       Bring the cross alive on our pulpits again, oh turn us unto You afresh; turn our eyes towards our redeemer upon the cross. O Lord, bring the cross-centred gospel to Your people again.

•       We appeal to the cross; we appeal to the blood of Jesus concerning Your church in Nigeria, O Lord. We plead with you, O Lord.

•       Raise for us out of Zion, Your rods in Nigeria, Your Moses, Calebs, Davids, Jonathans, Samuels, Deborahs, Esthers, Nehemiahs, Ezras, Marys, Peters, Pauls, Johns. Raise them Lord.

Strike, strike and keep on striking…..

•       2 Kings 13:18-19 - And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.  And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

•       We must be keep on striking, striking, and striking until God completes and utterly annihilate His enemies in Nigeria.

•       As we have received a new Nigeria, like a new born baby, the early months are crucial in the survival of that child. We must take this burden beyond the platform and begin to cry unto our God in the closet until we see His hand at work.

Persistent, insistence…..

•       Lord, arise on our behalf in Nigeria; arise in mercy and compassion.

•       Many are they that have encamped around us, and yes, we your children opened the door but as we have cried and are crying. Show us Your mercy.

•       Arise for us, O man of war; fight for us, O man of war, as You did for Moses and Your children, fight for us.

•       Shut the door against Islam in Nigeria, as the Muslims of the Middle East are becoming dissolution with Islam, let Nigerian Muslims begin to reject and resist Islam. Bring the gospel afresh to them.

•       Raise for us champions of the cross. Lord, raise for us men and women who will set in order the priority of the church in Nigeria; who will rekindle the fire that is about to be quenched in Your church; who will return us to the glories of the cross.
