In the Beginning God
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
• God is the Creator of all things including Nigeria. The gap between Him and His creature is infinity.
• God retains maximum ownership of all things including Nigeria. He has not given up that right to anyone, any power or any authority.
• He does not negotiate with any man, neither does He need or require anything from anyone.
• He is Almighty, the Man of war, who fights a war without a weapon. He has never and will never lose a battle, so He will never lose the battle of Nigeria.
• He is self-dependent, self-existent, self-sufficient. He is totally independent of anything He has created.
• He cannot be improved upon, He cannot be outwitted by Satan, He needs nothing or no one to survive.
• HE IS GOD, HE DOES NOT SWEAT ABOUT DARKNESS, HE JUST SPEAKS.
The Earth is the Lord
Psalm 24:1
The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
• The earth (including Nigeria) is the Lord’s, all that is in it, (including all the citizens of Nigeria).
• Nigeria is the Lord’s because God created Nigeria. God set Nigeria’s boundaries (not the British colonialist). God created all the tribes and people groups of Nigeria and located them in Nigeria.
• Nigeria is the Lord’s because God purchased the people of Nigeria with a great price the blood of Jesus.
• Both the land, the seas, the resources, the animals (including Fulani herdsman's cows, the people, the citizens, the foreigners within Nigeria are His.
• Please note- God has not relinquished His ownership of Nigeria or the people therein to anyone, to any power or to any authority. Nigeria is the Lord’s.
GOD DOES NOT NEED A GIANT TO FINISH A GIANT.
DAVID THE SHEPHERD
• David - 1 Samuel 17:1-58
• The agent - vs 42: A ruddy teenager, a youngster, a shepherd, untrained unschooled in the art of war.
• The weapons - vs 40: Shepherd's pouch, sling and five smooth pebbles.
• The battle strategy: The Word of God believed and spoken ; faith in God who is able to do the impossible.

ESTHER THE QUEEN

• The agent: A woman, yes a queen but she started as an ordinary virgin teenager, unschooled in politics and government.
• The weapons: Discretion, wisdom from God, good food.
• The battle strategy: Prayer fasting, intercession, cooking & hospitality.
The case for the church in Nigeria?
• Isaiah 59
• Why does it seem like God is slow in addressing the issue of Nigeria?
• We are a praying nation, vigils upon vigils, fastings of all types , prayers of all types, preachers of all types, churches of all types, yet Nigeria is not saved and now the enemy, Goliaths, Hamans, Jezebels and the likes have encamped against the nation.
• GOD DOES NOT ANSWER THE PRAYERS OF SINNERS UNLESS THEY REPENT AND RETURN TO THEIR GOD.
• Isaiah 59:20 - And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.
Prayer Points | Repentance on behalf of the church Nigeria - Psalm 51
• Have mercy upon us, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies, blot out our transgressions.
• Lord, we acknowledge our sins and iniquities are always before us.
• Wash us thoroughly from our iniquity, and cleanse us from our sin.
• We have sold our souls to Satan; we have joined hand and connived with your enemies against You and we have done it in the name of Jesus.
• We have gone AWOL pursuing assets instead of ACCESS to You, gold instead of GOD, cash instead of the CROSS, dollars instead of DISCIPLESHIP.
• We have misrepresented You; we have given occasion for Your enemy to blaspheme You; we have brought You sorrow and pain.
• We have defiled Your offerings; our church leaders like wolves, have devoured Your people all in the name of Jesus.
• We have left the commission to make disciples and evangelised Nigeria to take up the commission to fill our bellies, our pockets and build our church empires.
• LORD HAVE MERCY ON US. WE THE CHURCH IN NIGERIA, HAVE MERCY, O LORD.
Promote the full gospel in Nigeria afresh O Lord.

• 1 Samuel 14:1 - Now it happened one day that Jonathan the son of Saul said to the young man who bore his armour, “Come, let us go over to the Philistines’ garrison that is on the other side.” But he did not tell his father.
• LET THE REDEEMER COME AFRESH TO US IN NIGERIA.
• ENLIGHTEN OUR EYES AGAIN. LET US SEE JESUS CHRIST AND WHAT HE CAME TO DO AFRESH.
Prayer Points | Lord bring the cross-centred gospel back to Your church in Nigeria.
• Lord, let Your church, Your children in Nigeria, begin to turn from the adulterated, incomplete gospel that we have heard, believed and imbibed over some decades now.
• Let us begin to revolt Lord, in our spirit. Lord, cause an unrest in the hearts of Your children that will make us to begin to question what we have believed and are living our lives for in the name of the gospel.
• Let this spread like wild fire. Let us no longer defer to Saul. Lord, deliver our Davids, our Jonathans from the hand of Saul and the doctrines that Saul has perpetuated over the years.
• Bring the cross alive on our pulpits again, oh turn us unto You afresh; turn our eyes towards our redeemer upon the cross. O Lord, bring the cross-centred gospel to Your people again.
• We appeal to the cross; we appeal to the blood of Jesus concerning Your church in Nigeria, O Lord. We plead with you, O Lord.
• Raise for us out of Zion, Your rods in Nigeria, Your Moses, Calebs, Davids, Jonathans, Samuels, Deborahs, Esthers, Nehemiahs, Ezras, Marys, Peters, Pauls, Johns. Raise them Lord.
Strike, strike and keep on striking…..
• 2 Kings 13:18-19 - And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.
• We must be keep on striking, striking, and striking until God completes and utterly annihilate His enemies in Nigeria.
• As we have received a new Nigeria, like a new born baby, the early months are crucial in the survival of that child. We must take this burden beyond the platform and begin to cry unto our God in the closet until we see His hand at work.
Persistent, insistence…..
• Lord, arise on our behalf in Nigeria; arise in mercy and compassion.
• Many are they that have encamped around us, and yes, we your children opened the door but as we have cried and are crying. Show us Your mercy.
• Arise for us, O man of war; fight for us, O man of war, as You did for Moses and Your children, fight for us.
• Shut the door against Islam in Nigeria, as the Muslims of the Middle East are becoming dissolution with Islam, let Nigerian Muslims begin to reject and resist Islam. Bring the gospel afresh to them.
• Raise for us champions of the cross. Lord, raise for us men and women who will set in order the priority of the church in Nigeria; who will rekindle the fire that is about to be quenched in Your church; who will return us to the glories of the cross.
