Remain Faithful To New Nigeria

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Friday 11.30am-6.30pm (UK time)

We continue to thank God for the new Nigeria that He has birth – let thanksgiving never cease from our hearts for this great thing He has done!
Remember Jeremiah 32:27 – Is anything too hard for God? We trusted in Him, and He answered and sent forth a new Nigeria! Thank You Father.
John 11: 44 – "Loose him and let him go!" The Comforter has come! Nigeria has been set free!
Luke 1:60 – Elizabeth "spoke up – not so – she said…!" We take our place and speak up for Nigeria!
Ezekiel 37: 1-11 – Dry bones will live again!

My Responsibility – God’s Labourer in the Vineyard Called Nigeria
Even as we continue to thank God, let us remain faithful ‘’midwives’’ of the new ‘’baby’’, the new Nigeria that we have received – that Nigeria will be known for righteousness and no longer evil, corruption, 419, etc.

1.    The "baby" is in our hands, how do we order this child?

       Exodus 1: 15-21 -
’Then Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave this order to the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah: 16 “When you help the Hebrew women as they give birth, watch as they deliver. If the baby is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live.” 17 But because the midwives feared God, they refused to obey the king’s orders. They allowed the boys to live, too.
18 So the king of Egypt called for the midwives. “Why have you done this?” he demanded. “Why have you allowed the boys to live?”
19 “The Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women,” the midwives replied. “They are more vigorous and have their babies so quickly that we cannot get there in time.”
20 So God was good to the midwives, and the Israelites continued to multiply, growing more and more powerful. 21 And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own’’.

Lord, may You find me on "duty" in this responsibility of caring for this Your seed – new Nigeria! May I not be a hindrance, may I be on Your side concerning this nation! Let not fear of what I may be seeing, or even doubt distract me! Like Shiphrah and Puah, may I fear You and obey, no matter what!

  • In Your mercy, You have placed this task in my hand – remember that You told us in March that we now have a stake in the new Nigeria – may I not forget, be absent, or distracted. The ‘’babe’’ is suckling, I cannot forget it!
  • Like Nehemiah – Nehemiah 1 – find me on duty for Your glory in Nigeria!

2.     Allow the ‘’baby’’ take nourishment, don’t allow ‘’extinguishers/scoffers’’

       Psalm 1: 1 –
"Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers."

Lord, may I not be among those that ‘’mock’’ this new baby! May I NEVER contribute to any discomfort that this baby may experience even as You work – directly or indirectly! Keep me focused and vigilant.

  • Lord may I not forget this suckling child!
  • Make me definite like Jocebed (Exodus 1) in nurturing this baby – give us a sense of urgency, to properly order this child, with the time that we have! Give us focus and precision!

  1. Lord, begin to permeate the entire nation deliberately – even with the handover drawing nearer, Father be deliberate!
Isaiah 66:7-9
"Before the birth pains even begin, Jerusalem gives birth to a son. Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment? But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her children will be born. Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the Lord. “No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God"

All the arms of governance – federal, state and local governments, and all their parastatals. We declare that any other agenda contrary to that of heaven for Nigeria will not see the light of day in Jesus name! This new nation, this ‘’wonder’’ has been born! Let the new breed of leadership arise and be known!

  • The Body of Christ in Nigeria – that Nigeria for Christ will be an influence in other African nations and other continents. Let the Body of Christ arise and take its stand decisively for the complete gospel – Jesus Christ! Lord, break every hindrance, religion, denominationalism, doctrines, cultures, opinions, arguments, etc.!
  • Healing will come to our homes, churches, villages and urban areas! Cast Your ‘’salt’’ on our homes, etc.

God will come knocking on my life for updates on how this seed – Nigeria – is faring. Lord, may I faithfully give account! I must have faith – Hebrews 11:1. I must keep watch! Ephesians 5:14.
