A New Nigeria In The Hand of God (2)

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Friday 11.30am-6.30pm (UK time)

1 Timothy 2: 1 – 4
1 Samuel 9: 25 – 27; 10: 1-10; Ezra 1, 3, 4
  1. Thank the Lord for the peaceful election and making His choice.
  2. Lord, just as it was in the days of Saul, give unto the leaders a new heart and let Your Spirit come upon them.
  3. Lord, please let them be men that you can walk with.
  4. Let their Spirit be subjected to Your leading and directive.
  Ezra 1:1 – 3
Unlike the way of every man, let us not set time and judge this regime with our natural senses. Rather let us ask the Lord for a discerning spirit in other to understand His timing and seasons for the nation: Physical state of things have a way of affecting the mindset, thus creating room for doubt and unbelief. Therefore, let us not say like others, “Let us see what he can do in 100 days.” The truth is that the situation in Nigeria is not what can be curbed in 100 days. Rather, let us keep giving thanks to God and continue in our intercession for strength to carry out the task. At the moment, Nigeria is going through a cleansing process and God is doing an underground work. The task before new President and the new Vice President is a very huge one and they cannot do it alone! Before anything solid can be done, the old system has to be completely wiped out before another building can be erected. This transformation process is likely to affect everyone.

Hebrews 3:4
For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
  1. Lord, please in your mercy, let Nigeria be re-built by You through the hands of those whom you have elected as leaders both at State and Federal levels.
Ezra 3: 8-13
We are most grateful to God for those whom the new President has chosen to work with.
  1. Let us pray that their standing with God will not change. That God should uphold them in the place of duty and grant them the grace to walk in righteousness, boldness and courage regardless of the opposition they may face.
  2. For every minister that would be given a portfolio, God should work peace and agreement within them concerning every wise godly decision that will be taken to effect a positive change for the nation (Amos 3:3).
Ezra 4: 1-4
By faith, we trust God that Nigeria will be re-built upon a solid foundation.
However, let us pray against the enemy of the nation. Nigeria has a mandate in the agenda of God. God’s purpose and expectations for this nation will not be cut short.

Who is that enemy that would disguise herself as a friend to Nigeria? God still sees her (Nigeria) with the eyes of the future as a nation that will play a very vital role in the coming revival in other nations by spreading the truth of the complete mystery of the Gospel.
  1. Lord, whatever and whomever would dare to stand in the way of progress of Nigeria, please expose their hidden agenda and bring them to naught.
  2. Lord, let no scheme of man or powers of darkness prevail over this nation, Nigeria.
  3. Let this nation not fall into the trap and hands of the wicked one again.
While growing up, a child is bound to face challenges (such as peer-pressure, decision making etc.) Please give Nigeria the strength to scale through all her challenges and cause her to remain firm and strong.

Lord, help us to be watchful and prayerful labourers. May this ‘new Nigeria’ which you have delivered unto us, not die in our hands. Help us to be good nursing mothers who have vowed to keep watch and see that Your will is established in this land.

Grant us grace Lord, that we do not fail in our places of duty.

Remain Faithful To New Nigeria

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Friday 11.30am-6.30pm (UK time)

We continue to thank God for the new Nigeria that He has birth – let thanksgiving never cease from our hearts for this great thing He has done!
Remember Jeremiah 32:27 – Is anything too hard for God? We trusted in Him, and He answered and sent forth a new Nigeria! Thank You Father.
John 11: 44 – "Loose him and let him go!" The Comforter has come! Nigeria has been set free!
Luke 1:60 – Elizabeth "spoke up – not so – she said…!" We take our place and speak up for Nigeria!
Ezekiel 37: 1-11 – Dry bones will live again!

My Responsibility – God’s Labourer in the Vineyard Called Nigeria
Even as we continue to thank God, let us remain faithful ‘’midwives’’ of the new ‘’baby’’, the new Nigeria that we have received – that Nigeria will be known for righteousness and no longer evil, corruption, 419, etc.

1.    The "baby" is in our hands, how do we order this child?

       Exodus 1: 15-21 -
’Then Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave this order to the Hebrew midwives, Shiphrah and Puah: 16 “When you help the Hebrew women as they give birth, watch as they deliver. If the baby is a boy, kill him; if it is a girl, let her live.” 17 But because the midwives feared God, they refused to obey the king’s orders. They allowed the boys to live, too.
18 So the king of Egypt called for the midwives. “Why have you done this?” he demanded. “Why have you allowed the boys to live?”
19 “The Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women,” the midwives replied. “They are more vigorous and have their babies so quickly that we cannot get there in time.”
20 So God was good to the midwives, and the Israelites continued to multiply, growing more and more powerful. 21 And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own’’.

Lord, may You find me on "duty" in this responsibility of caring for this Your seed – new Nigeria! May I not be a hindrance, may I be on Your side concerning this nation! Let not fear of what I may be seeing, or even doubt distract me! Like Shiphrah and Puah, may I fear You and obey, no matter what!

  • In Your mercy, You have placed this task in my hand – remember that You told us in March that we now have a stake in the new Nigeria – may I not forget, be absent, or distracted. The ‘’babe’’ is suckling, I cannot forget it!
  • Like Nehemiah – Nehemiah 1 – find me on duty for Your glory in Nigeria!

2.     Allow the ‘’baby’’ take nourishment, don’t allow ‘’extinguishers/scoffers’’

       Psalm 1: 1 –
"Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers."

Lord, may I not be among those that ‘’mock’’ this new baby! May I NEVER contribute to any discomfort that this baby may experience even as You work – directly or indirectly! Keep me focused and vigilant.

  • Lord may I not forget this suckling child!
  • Make me definite like Jocebed (Exodus 1) in nurturing this baby – give us a sense of urgency, to properly order this child, with the time that we have! Give us focus and precision!

  1. Lord, begin to permeate the entire nation deliberately – even with the handover drawing nearer, Father be deliberate!
Isaiah 66:7-9
"Before the birth pains even begin, Jerusalem gives birth to a son. Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment? But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her children will be born. Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the Lord. “No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God"

All the arms of governance – federal, state and local governments, and all their parastatals. We declare that any other agenda contrary to that of heaven for Nigeria will not see the light of day in Jesus name! This new nation, this ‘’wonder’’ has been born! Let the new breed of leadership arise and be known!

  • The Body of Christ in Nigeria – that Nigeria for Christ will be an influence in other African nations and other continents. Let the Body of Christ arise and take its stand decisively for the complete gospel – Jesus Christ! Lord, break every hindrance, religion, denominationalism, doctrines, cultures, opinions, arguments, etc.!
  • Healing will come to our homes, churches, villages and urban areas! Cast Your ‘’salt’’ on our homes, etc.

God will come knocking on my life for updates on how this seed – Nigeria – is faring. Lord, may I faithfully give account! I must have faith – Hebrews 11:1. I must keep watch! Ephesians 5:14.

North America And Us

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Friday 11.30am-6.30pm (UK time)

COME DRINK NEW WINE! North America- Acts 15:1-33

Great salvation and rejoicing through the Gospel. Much disciples raised amidst oppositions.

- V1-5. When the old tries to break into the new again through undecluttered mindsets.
Will bring a great setback to the progress of the new race.
- Sect of the Pharisees who had believed, now about to drown the labour on the new race via undecluttered mind of religion and tradition. Watch out!

- V6-21. Thank God for sensitive Spirit filled leaders. They quickly put an end to the brewing trouble via Peter's and James' speeches.

- Revival broke out in North America some years ago and swept the land. It was hijacked by the enemy through believers whose minds were undecluttered from mammon. That has affected the whole world for more than 50 years now. Still affecting us.

ü  Pray for North America that as God breaks through with the full Gospel again, men and women will readily lay down their all and be fully baptised into Christ through the Gospel. Ready for a life exchange through and through.
ü  That the Holy Spirit will work on the hearts of Christians in North America to see a need to repent for the incomplete, adulterated gospel that they exported to the world bringing Christendom in our time under the rule of mammon and capitalism.

ü  Lord don't let me be so gullible as to quickly revert back to the old without first checking with the Holy Spirit and with Spirit filled leaders,
ü  Don't let me be a vanguard of setback for the new race through a mind undecluttered from religion and traditions of men, like the sect of Pharisees who were undecluttered believers
ü  In everything I do and influence others to do, help me to always think of JESUS and the effect of my actions on the price He paid to secure the new race for His FATHER.
ü  Deepen my heart on the progress of the brethren and on establishing them in the new race as members of the Church of the first born (Jesus). Don't let me embark on anything that will carelessly distract them from the great company of God.
ü  Like Peter, James, Barnabas, Paul, Judas, Silas, help my life to confirm the brethren. Make me a builder on the foundation of "Christ in you"- the Gospel, not a scatterer.
ü  Make the Word of God to spread and disciples to multiply in the next few weeks and months among us.

Holy Spirit please work mightily among us to glorify JESUS. Amen.

A New Nigeria In The Hand of God (1)

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Friday 11.30am-6.30pm (UK time)

Let us raise up a prayer of thanksgiving to our faithful Father for answering our prayers for Nigeria.

Psalms 32: Vs 1-2
He forgave the transgressions of Nigeria and its people, especially the Church.
           He covered our sin.
He did not impute iniquity to us.
He justified us – just as if we never sinned.

WHY? Vs 5
We acknowledged our sin to our Father.
We did not hide our iniquity – Prov. 28:13.
We confessed our transgressions to Him.

Therefore:
He forgave the iniquity of our sin.
He did not hide Himself from us when we prayed.

PRAYER: Vs 7-8
Dear Father God, please continue to be our hiding place.
Preserve us as a nation from trouble and surround us with songs of deliverance.

Lord, please instruct our leaders – the EXECUTIVE, the LEGISLATIVE and the JUDICIARY. Teach them in the way to direct the affairs of this New Nigeria and guide them with Your eyes.

Now, we are going to decree, peradventure any of them want to be like the mule with no understanding, who refuse to bow to the lordship of our LORD: Isaiah 40:21-31.

·         Thank God for the peace we experienced through the period.
·         Thank God for the re-elected Prime Minister and for the ruling party.
·         Thank God for His will that will prevail in this nation.

Prayer for Intercessors
[Jer. 1:8-9; Isa. 62:1,6-8]
·         Lord, equip me the place of prayer.
·         Help me in the place of prayer until United Kingdom shines in righteousness.
·         Lord, I arise to take my position to pray until United Kingdom becomes the delight of the Lord.
·         Let every crooked path be made straight.

Prayer for New Government
·         Thank God for the new Prime Minister - DAVID CAMERON.
·         Lord, we pray that he will encounter the complete gospel of the Lord and that his eyes of understanding will be enlightened.
·         Grant him wisdom and a humble spirit to rule the nation [1 Kings 3:7-10].
·         In choosing a new cabinet, Father, help him make the right choice.
·         Lord, raise the Elijahs who will be bold to speak the truth in this new government, [1Kings18:15-18] especially to the Prime Minister.
·         Father, raise the faithful men in government like Obadiah who fear the LORD who will not bow to the world system and the gods of this world.
·         Lord, rid this nation of every troubler opposing the gospel of our Lord Jesus [vs18] and turn their counsel to foolishness.
·         Let the adversaries of the gospel be broken in pieces [1 Sam. 20:10].
·         Let the banner of our Lord Jesus be lifted high.
·         We pray for unity in the government between SNP AND CONSERVATIVES.

UK2015- Does God Delight in the Affairs of Men?

DOES GOD DELIGHT OR GET INTERESTED IN THE AFFAIRS OF MEN?
YES! YES!! YES!!!

Daniel 2:19-21 - Living Bible (TLB)
Daniel 4:17 - King James Version (KJV)
Psalm 75:6-7 - King James Version (KJV)

MPs, Lords and Offices

Dissolution of Parliament
The dissolution of Parliament took place on Monday 30 March 2015. All business in the House of Commons has come to an end and there are no MPs. Every seat in the Commons is vacant until after the general election on 7 May 2015.

Dissolution is the official term for the end of a Parliament. Under this Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011, a general election must be held in the UK, and a new Parliament elected, every five years.

A general election is an opportunity for people in every part of the UK to choose their MP - the person who will represent their local area (constituency) in the House of Commons for up to five years. The United Kingdom is currently divided into 650 parliamentary constituencies, each of which is represented by one Member of Parliament in the House of Commons.

Pray for all 650 constituencies that since our GOD takes pleasure or delight in the affairs of men, HE will rule in the affairs of UK, even in each constituency;
With our eyes of faith, call those things that be not as if they are. Prophesy GOD’s blessing into all the constituencies.

House of Commons
When Parliament is dissolved, every seat in the House of Commons becomes vacant. All business in the House comes to an end. There are no MPs.

MPs revert to being members of the public and lose privileges associated with being a Member of Parliament. MPs are allowed access to Parliament for just a few days in which to remove papers from their offices. The facilities that the House provides for MPs in Westminster during a Parliament are no longer available to them from 5pm on the day of dissolution.

Until a new Parliament is elected, there are no MPs. Those who wish to be MPs again must stand again as candidates for election.

House of Lords
Members of the House of Lords are appointed, not elected.

Members of the House of Lords retain their positions, but all business in the House comes to an end when Parliament is dissolved. While Members of the Lords can access the premises of Parliament, only limited facilities and services are available to them.

What happens to the Government when Parliament is dissolved?
Parliament and Government are two separate institutions. The Government does not resign when Parliament is dissolved. Government ministers remain in charge of their departments until after the result of the election is known and a new administration is formed.

The Electoral Commission is an independent body, accountable directly to the UK Parliament that regulates elections in the UK, promotes voter awareness and works to build confidence in the electoral process.

Members of both Houses of Parliament are required by law to take an oath of allegiance to the Crown on taking their seat in Parliament.

Luke 11:1-2  Pray that as JESUS taught His disciples to pray, whether it is by being elected or by being appointed, GOD’s kingdom will come upon UK;

Pray for His divine will to be done (not the will of men who judge by past deeds).

A new Parliament
After a general election, the new Parliament is opened by the Royal Commission in the House of Lords, in the presence of Members of both Houses, after which the House of Commons meets to elect a Speaker and the Lords commences oath taking.

Taking the oath in the House of Commons
At the start of a new Parliament, all MPs (whether or not they have been MPs in the past) must take the oath of allegiance or make a solemn affirmation.
After the Commons Speaker has taken the oath, MPs come forward one by one to swear or affirm at the despatch box. MPs take the oath/affirm in order of seniority:

o   Father of the House (the longest continuous serving Member)
o   Cabinet Ministers
o   Shadow Cabinet Ministers
o   Privy Counsellors
o   Other Ministers
o   Other Members in order of seniority

Let us speak as the LORD gives us utterance unto the premises. Remember that at this House of Common, decisions is being approved; issues and matters are being debated and deliberated; laws are being legislated; where the work of the government are being scrutinised.

Pray that the Spirit of GOD will rest upon the seats as HE breathes His breathe of life (For where the Spirit of GOD is, there is liberty).

Pray that henceforth there will be a divine shift in the ruling system of UK.

Psalms 67:1-4 – Pray that GOD’s ways will be made known once again in UK and that His purpose will come to pass, even in our time and generations to come.

Pray that the cry/sweat/effort of our past Jehoshaphats of UK – both male and female, will not be vain.

UK2015- Let Mercy Prevail Over Judgement

Listen to this HeartCry message

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Friday 11.30am-6.30pm (UK time)

Election is in a few days.
The ideal scenario would be
A disciple (redeemed, of the regenerated and divine race) is elected to office. Whose ambition is to seek out and execute God’s programme.
Jesus’ ambition
For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
John 6:38.
What makes this ideal scenario look farfetched?
"If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." 2 Chron 7: 14 (AMP)
 ________________________________________

If My people, who are called by My name
The population of U.K is 64.5 million; 60% claim that they are Christians (38.7 million).
Tearfund survey in 2007 showed only 1/10 Britons actually attend Church weekly.
Between the 2001 and 2011 census, there was a 12% decrease in the amount of people who identified as Christian, whilst the percentage of those reporting no religion affiliation doubled.
God is wondering why there is a scarcity of disciples despite technological advancement and innovation.

Many are saying LORD, LORD but Jesus seems to say HE does not know them. Could it be that majority of the 38+ million Christian are of the Adamic race?

Does this explain why many think that Christians have lost their cutting edge?
If 12 disciples turned their generation aright why is the same or more not visible with over 30 million Christians?

Who does the LORD refer to as - My people?

God understands that there are 2 kinds of people - those of the Adamic race and those of the Divine race.
Divine race (church) - His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to His eternal purpose that He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. Eph. 3:10-11.
God's verdict: Matt.7:21; John 2:23-25.

Humble themselves

God is saying that the Assembly of God is now much worse than in the assemblies in Ephesus, Sardis and Laodicia.
Adamic race: Consider God to be a phenomenon (self righteous, not needing Christ) and reject the offer of Christ and the cross.
Carnal race: Lukewarm; says "I am rich"; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.

Pray, seek

God is grieved because men have given themselves to seek creation instead of the FULL GOSPEL. Rom. 1.

Crave and require of necessity My face

God is asking us to ponder and consider what our places of worship are turning into. I stumbled on a website where bloggers expressed their views on what places of worship have become, hence the reason for leaving:
  • Revival is a hackneyed word many have used to gather people around themselves instead of around Jesus.
  • Widespread of  false, feel good and fragmented gospel.
  • Focus on the teachings of the church fathers rather than the apostles doctrines.
  • Woeful lack of spiritual food.
  • Men who peddle the Word of God for profit.
  • Seeker sensitive sermons/ canned sermons sent out by denominations.
  • Places of worship turning God’s people to slaves under denomination.
  • Fixation on becoming the next mega church rather than building lives.
  • Church leaders specializing on being slick in their speech and smooth in their moves.
  • Temple now house  leaders with powerful pride and raging anger.
  • Money, power and social Darwinism is the order of the day.
  • Flock of God has been appropriated for personal gain.
  • A bunch of people not willing to leave Babylon.
  • Focus on hypnotic music, droning mindless repetitious sermons.
  • Manipulation and nagging on tithe, offering, pledges, and sacrificial giving.
  • A place to be used and abused.

Turn from their wicked ways

GOD is asking why there is not a turning from wickedness. He is not satisfied with sadness that merely results in apology but no action to correct the wrong or turn away from it.

"For saddness (godly sorrow) that is used by God brings a change of the heart that leads to salvation - and there is no regret in that! But sadness that is merely human causes death."

2 Cor. 7:10 (GNT)

Then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land
Only after the above is done - then HE will ....
  • hear from heaven
  • forgive our sin
  • heal our land

Prayer Points
  • Pray that the Full gospel will be restated to all.
  • Ask the LORD to cause the message of the cross to return to our altar, pulpits and platforms.
  • Plead with the LORD to help us see our poverty of Spirit and cling wholly to HIM.
  • Bring your heart before the LORD and ask Him to activate the repentance of Jesus in you.
  • Many believed the LORD when they saw the miracles HE did but HE did not entrust HIMSELF to them- Lord please show me where I stand with You.
Let mercy prevail over judgement over the UK

Revelation 11:15 (NKJV)
“The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!
  • Thank You, Lord –The United Kingdom will become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.
  • Thank You, Lord for the foundation of Christ that has been laid in the United Kingdom and for the labour of the saints gone by such as Evan Roberts, Smith Wigglesworth, John Newton and John Bunyan.
  • Thank You, Lord for the restoration that You have in store for this nation.

Leviticus 10:3 (NKJV)

“By those who come near Me, I must be regarded as holy; and before all the people I must be glorified” said the Lord.
  • This restoration we are asking for starts with us – those who come to Him must regard Him as holy – and He must be glorified before all the people.
  • God wants to restore this land and He needs the repentance of Jesus activated in us. This is the kind of repentance that generates results – seen in Phil. 2:5-11. Jesus forsook heaven’s glory, humbled Himself and become obedient to the point of death.
  • Lord – Open my eyes to see the link between the level of my repentance and the level of in-gathering of souls of men.
  • Lord – Work the repentance of Jesus in me. Find in me, Your humility and compassion as I forsake all and follow You.
  • Lord – Manifest Your power and bring restoration to the United Kingdom as declared in Amos 9:11-15. Revive the hearts of men by the power of the cross.
