Europe: Give Me This Mountain
- Eastern Europe

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.” (Psalm 110:1-7 KJV)

God of Creation

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” (Genesis 1:1-5)

Rods / Labourers Are Few

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, the harvest is plentiful but the workers are fewAsk the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.” (Mat 9: 35- 38)

A Case Study Of Bulgaria

Early Christianity thrived in ancient Bulgaria.
The church became orthodox (over 50 monasteries).
      500 years of Islamic occupation.
Liaison with Russia just to get rid of the Turks and Islam.
Had to take up communism in exchange for Islam.
Now communism is gone but so is the gospel.
All that is left nationally are the relics of Christianity, few evangelicals.
Majority of the people have not heard the true gospel ever in their lives.
Now the pursuit is a comfortable, prosperous lifestyle for the people.
Apparently, over 2 million are in the UK and other parts of Europe.
Young people are living together, unmarried and unprepared to have children because of the suffering they experienced under communism.

The gate shut tight against the entry of Islam into Europe.

How Can They Believe If They Have Not Heard?

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Rom 10:14-17)

How Can They Call On Whom They Have Not Heard?

“But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted?
And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims, A sight to take your breath away! Grand processions of people telling all the good things of God! But not everybody is ready for this, ready to see and hear and act. Isaiah asked what we all ask at one time or another: “Does anyone care, God? Is anyone listening and believing a word of it? The point is: Before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ’s Word is preached, there’s nothing to listen to.” (Rom 10:14-15; The Message).

GO!!!
“After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place where He was about to go. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Luke 10: 1-4).

Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.

Jesus Must Dwell Among The People.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
“So the word of God became a human being and lived among us.” (  John 1:14; Phillips)
“The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighbourhood.” ( John 1:14; The Message)

Jesus Must Be Heard, Seen, Touched And Handled.

“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.” (1 John 1:1-3)

Awakening

Evangelical revivals in the 1700s were a major factor in the explosion of missionary activity.
As Christians in America and Britain were brought back to the cross; as they were revived and began to live the life of the New Creation Man, the Holy Spirit gave the call again  - Go!!!
And many arose and went, many young people; many left lands, positions, wealth, education, family, plans, ambition and went.

Our going must involved a physical presence of a man who carrying Jesus who can be touched, tested, seen, observed living, coming in and out among the people.
